Education Sydney introduces The Royal Institute For Deaf And Blind Children in North Rocks, for all your education and learning needs.

One of Australia’s major charities, The Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) is also Australia’s premier special educator. RIDBC’s primary purpose is to provide high quality educational services to children who have significant hearing and/or vision impairment, including children who have additional disabilities.

RIDBC conducts a centre for research and professional development in the education of children with impaired hearing or vision in affiliation with the University of Newcastle.

RIDBC is motivated by:

• A recognition that all children, irrespective of disability, deserve to receive education, training and other services which will enable them to develop their skills and capabilities to the fullest.
• A quest for quality in the education of children with special needs which arise from impaired vision and/or hearing.
